International Checkers Game

The checkers or the checkers game is an abstract combinatorial board game for two players. The term actually refers to several games like the international Checkers game or the English Checkers game.

It is played on a checkerboard of 8x8, 10x10 or 12x12 depending on the variant. The game has a number of coins (pawns) also variable (larger tables have a larger number of pieces), clear and obscure, in most of the variants located in the squares ´ the same color (alternate) on the first rows on either side of the Table.

During the game there are two types of well-differentiated pieces: pawns and cjeckers.
