The South African National Department of Health and Provincial Government Departments of Health deploy Community Health Workers to conduct household screening for SARS-CoV-2. Health Workers interview household members and then record the responses as text information using this application. The application requires credentials to be accessed, hence only vetted and approved Health Workers are able and permitted to access the application. The data is collected in line with South African privacy laws and regulations.
