  We’ve been hard at work preparing for the first release of 2025 and we have some goodies in store for you, especially for fans of customization.
  
  We now have a premium version of Novade Lite available. For a little extra, you get a whole lot of extra customisation capabilities. You can now upload and view 3D models in the web app, you can customise your PDF output to match your own layout, logo etc.
  
  And you can create automations to add advanced functionality to forms such as show/hide fields.

  This release includes significant updates. For those needing to create forms with a validity period, we are introducing Start and End dates in form metadata. These dates, combined with workflow phases, determine if a form is Valid, Expired, Overdue, etc.
  We are also introducing Automations for Forms. The first automation allows setting the Start and End dates from any date and time field in the form. Stay tuned for more automations coming your way.

  Custom Table Views gets a major upgrade and is now called Dashboards. You can create a dashboard with multiple table views and indicators (a new type of chart with counts) and arrange them any way you like with resizable tiles.
  
  We’ve also added a new field type called People so that you can list people in a form. Perfect for Toolbox meetings, time cards and Site Diaries etc. It makes it easy to to add people on site to a form.
  
  These are the kind of November surprises we like.

  It’s satisfying to close out Projects after they have been completed, you know... dot all the “i”s and cross all the “t”s. We’ve added a new Closed status for projects precisely for this reason.
  
  We’ve added an interaction to Counts in Custom Table Views that will take you to a list view with all the forms filtered automatically with the correct filters applied.
  
  Finally, you can also apply filters to forms based on workflow states provided you have data mapping keys setup.

  We recently had the F1 weekend here in Singapore and we’ve been busy turbo charging our form engine and template library.
  The Novade Template Library gets an upgrade. You can now download form templates with workflows. We have also added the ability to download dashboards with the associated templates.
  We’ve also introduced the ability to assign workflow steps to the From Creator and notify them at any stage of the workflow. Add to that the ability to assign groups to workflows and vroom vroom.

  Did you know you can create Groups of people and assign permissions to the group? Well, you could only do this on the web but with this release you can also create and administer group permissions from your mobile device.
  
  We have also introduced the ability to count the number of forms in a workflow stage in a custom table view. If that sounds a bit complicated, drop us a line and we’ll be happy to walk you through the feature. It is particularly helpful in tracking your Permits to Work.

  Groupthink might be bad, but being able to have groups in a productivity app is good. You now have the ability to add people to groups and assign user rights to those people via groups. Next step will be group assignment of tasks and forms, but we believe in baby steps.
  The Novade Template library also gets a major upgrade with the ability to download workflows with your templates. Summer brings rewards other than the beach.

  This release is all about Form notifications. We’ve now added the ability to notify anyone about a form reaching a particular workflow stage, including a new parameter for Form Creator. This will be particularly useful for Inspections of all types and Permits to Work.
  We have also added a new feature to enter a user explanation before sending a form to a workflow state, so if you need to your users to add any explanation before they send the form to a workflow state, you’ve got it.
