Panchatantra

The Panchatantra is a collection of Sanskrit fables in prose and verse. The original version, now lost, was written around 200 BC and is attributed to Vishnu Sarma. The Panchatantra consists of 5 parts, and hence called Panchtantra. Pancha means five and tantra means ways or principles. everyone from kids to adults can read these famous Stories. Panchatantra tells about five ways that help the human being succeed in life. It is amongst the most frequently translated literature of India around the world.
