PG Orbit 2.5.1 — bug fix.

  • Fixed: in the Create Table screen, typing a column name, length or default value no longer closes the keyboard after every character

  • Slow queries and table loads now offer a Cancel button, and cancelling really stops the query on the server.
  • Sorting a table by its column header now sorts the whole table, not just the rows on the current page.

PG Orbit 2.0 — sync across your devices.

  • Sign in with Google, Apple, or an email code
  • Connections and saved queries follow you to every device
  • Passwords and SSH keys never sync — they stay in your device's keychain
  • Query history sync is opt-in and off by default
  • Tablet workspace: sidebar, object tabs and SQL tabs
  • Save and name your SQL queries
  • Fixed: long SSH key names no longer overflow the field

  • Materialized views: browse and manage them — create, refresh (including concurrent), edit the definition, rename, drop, manage indexes, and edit comments. A details panel shows columns, data, the SQL
  definition, indexes, and stats.
  • Manage regular views too: create, edit, rename, and drop.
  • Export view data to CSV.
  • Fixed DigitalOcean sign-in, plus stability updates.

  - Full hardware keyboard support in the SQL Editor. Type queries naturally on any external keyboard, use the up/down arrows to navigate autocomplete suggestions, and press Enter or Tab to insert the highlighted one.
  - Smarter autocomplete: the suggestion list now updates live as you delete characters, so narrowing and widening your query is seamless.
  - Updated underlying libraries for better stability and performance.

  - Scroll position is now preserved when navigating back from a table to the database/connection list. Previously the list would reset to the top.
  - Cut/Copy/Paste toolbar now appears when long-pressing in the SQL query editor.

Database listing no longer fails on Heroku-managed Postgres (and other shared hosting) when the server contains databases the user lacks permission to access. Inaccessible databases are filtered out, and a subtle note shows how many were hidden.

  - Hardened schema loading to qualify `pg_namespace` OIDs and gracefully fall back when descriptions are unavailable, so browsing works on databases that hide system OIDs.
