Prabhas Raju or mononymously as Prabhas,[1] Is an Indian film actor mostly known for his works in Telugu Cinema. He was born in Madras, India in a Telugu-speaking Kshatriya Hindu family. His uncle U. Krishnam Raju is also a popular Telugu film actor.[3] Uppalapati attended the DNR School, Bhimavaram and graduated with a B. Tech. degree from Sri Chaitanya College, Hyderabad.[4] He made his film debut with the 2002 drama film Eeswar.
