This app is created to improve reading skills. Words will be written on the app and you will read out loud the word. Using google voice recognition technology, the app will check your voice and will compare against the written word. If you get the word correctly then you will get a corresponding point and proceed to the next word.

You have 3 chances to read the word properly and if you are unable to get the correct pronounciation then it will be marked as wrong and points will be deducted to your total score.

After you meet the target score, a customized message will appear on the app which serves as a proof that you have completed the reading challenge.

The target score and corresponding deduction per mistake can be customed using the settings option.

This app is very helpfull for parents who doesnt have the time or patience to teach their children proper reading. This can be used as a form of challenge to children and if the children sucessfully completed the reading challenge, they can show the "customized message" to their parent as proof of completing the reading challenge in exchange perhaps for a reward.

I developed this personally for my son who is studying in a multilingual school where english reading is not given proper focus. This app helped me ensure he is reading properly and pronouncing the english words properly. His motivation is that upon completion I will allow him to use his iPAD, Gaming Console and PC for 1 day. Now because of this app, instead of me running after my son to teach him reading, he comes to me everyday so that he can complete the reading challenge as soon as possible and play with his ipad
