The District Police Office (DPO) is the main nerve centre of the Udupi District Police. The Superintendent of Police office, The Additional Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Udupi and many other specialized unit's like District Crime Record Bureau (DCRB), District Special Branch (DSB), Finger Print Bureau (FPB) and Centralized Police IT network are maintained from here.

Police as the custodians of law play a very important role in the progress of any society. Many a times we have seen there is an inherent fear associated with any police force and people don't freely approach us for any help that they might need. This 'Suraksha Police' app, we believe, will break that barrier. We expect you to actively participate and send your complaints, appreciations if any to me directly. There is also a provision to upload Photos to us directly.
