  Map Overlays, rebuilt.
Import your own scanned, historical, or aerial maps and pin them
over the live satellite. Drag, pinch and twist to fit — the map
underneath stays put. For pinpoint accuracy, drop control points
and we'll align to the real world down to the meter. New: opacity
control, one-tap show/hide, and "Search a place" to position an
  overlay anywhere on Earth.

A redesigned welcome that leads with Radar — your live group map —
  and Map Overlays.
