Thirteen Fray

Game Rules

Objective: Form a winning hand by collecting 14 tiles that follow the Thirteen Orphans pattern.

Pattern Requirements:

- Number Tiles: For each suit (Wan, Tong, Tiao), collect tiles with numbers that have at least a 2-number gap between them (e.g., 1-4, 2-5, 3-6)

- Honor Tiles: Collect all 4 Wind tiles (East, South, West, North) and all 3 Dragon tiles (Red, Green, White)

- No Consecutive Numbers: Adjacent numbers in the same suit must have a gap of at least 3

Gameplay:

1. Start with 13 randomly generated tiles following the Thirteen Orphans pattern

2. Select one additional tile to complete your hand

3. Check if your 14-tile hand forms a valid Thirteen Orphans combination

4. Win by achieving the correct pattern with proper number gaps

Example Valid Hand:

- Wan: 1, 4, 7 (gaps: 3, 3)

- Tong: 2, 5, 8 (gaps: 3, 3)

- Tiao: 3, 6, 9 (gaps: 3, 3)

- Winds: East, South, West, North

- Dragons: Red, Green, White
