Tawfiq Al-Sayegh

Tawfiq bin Saeed Al-Sayegh, (1974-) was born in Eritrea and lived in Saudi Arabia from a young age. One of Sheikh Muhammad bin Al-Othaimeen’s students and holds a master’s degree from Al-Imam University and former imam of Al-Lami Mosque in Jeddah.

His life

He was born in Asmara, Eritrea

Primary school lesson: King Faisal Primary School in Jeddah

Middle school lesson: at both the Red Sea Middle School and Al-Razi Middle School

He studied secondary school: at the Jeddah Scientific Institute affiliated with Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University, and graduated with distinction and obtained a university certificate (the best student)

He completed his undergraduate studies at the branch of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Qassim and graduated summa cum laude with first class honors

He obtained a master’s degree from Umm Al-Qura University in Mecca, with a grade of 98 and a grade of distinction, with course recommendation and circulation between universities.

He studied under the guidance of Imam Sheikh: Muhammad Al-Saleh Al-Othaimeen -

And: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sidqi Al-Bornou. And: Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abu Znaid. And: Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Sultan

He also read to some of the senior students of Al-Uthaymeen, whether in the university halls or elsewhere:

Among his most senior sheikhs: Sheikh Khaled Al-Mushayqih, to whom he read about jurisprudence. - And Sheikh: Abd al-Rahman al-Dahsh, and he read to him about grammar. - And Sheikh: Khaled Al-Musleh, and he read to him about the doctrine.

He also recited the Qur’an to:

Sheikh: Muhammad Habib Al-Rahman (from Pakistan), Sheikh: Muhammad Ibrahim Shata (from Egypt), and next to Sheikh: Yahya Abdul Razzaq Al-Ghouthani (from Syria). He left the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dhul-Qi’dah in the year 1435 AH after spending 33 years there.

Member of the Board of Trustees of the Caval Charitable Foundation (UK)
