The AIRPACT-Fire initiative at Washington State University is a project under the Laboratory for Atmospheric Research, the purpose of which is estimate visual range from the camera in a smartphone in an attempt to determine trends in air quality over time.

This app is a client to the AIRPACT-Fire server and website, and enables a form of crowd-sourced data gathering from some select, expert users.
