Avoid - Dietary Food Scanner

The avoid app gives you insight into what ingredients are in your food, in particular looking at whether the ingredients fit within selected diets, from veganism to checking if your dog can eat the leftovers, avoid has you covered.

This app was developed over the course of 2 months. In these crucial early stages of release we would love to hear your feedback and will make sure to get back to you on any issues.

The app makes use of the Open Food Facts API and so all of the ingredients are user uploaded. This is worth bearing in mind as the results might not be accurate at all times. This is NOT a primary safety measure for serious allergies, but could save you time if it does detect your allergen before reading. Always check the label if our app does not find your allergen.

If there is a product that's details aren't available, feel free to download the Open Food Facts app and upload it yourself. We will be updating the app to allow you do to that from within Avoid very soon.
