Do you need a barcode scanner but you don't want to buy expansive and specific tools?

BarCodes App is the solution to your problems. It's an app that allows you to scan barcodes by using your smartphone camera and send them (by using WiFi) to your PC with BarCodes Server installed: this server allows you to write automatically the codes on Word, Excel or other softwares with the "Virtual Keyboard" integrated function, or export them in CSV.

HOW TO CONNECT TO THE SERVER

You can follow the simple instructions shown at the app launch:

1️⃣ Go to https://eclab.altervista.org and download BarCodes Server on your pc

2️⃣ Install and run the server

3️⃣ Check that device and server are connected to the same WiFi and push the button below the instruction in BarCodes App.

Then, the app performs an automatic connection to the server and you can start to scan your codes. To use the "Virtual Keyboard" function, you just need to keep on top the software where you want to write the codes and move the caret on the desired position on your pc.
