The Biomarker application is a resource for physicians, medical students, nurses, and medical professionals for information regarding biomarkers.

Biomarkers are substances that indicate an individual's susceptibility to a certain disease.

-Find specific biomarkers regardless of individual properties by entering biomarker name into the seach bar

-Access all biomarkers categorized by associated disease; these are separated by types of cancers

When applicable, literature selection takes users to online medical journals for further studies

We developed a mobile application with a database of biomarker information from the NIH. The application helps medical professionals analyze patient biomarker information by providing mobile access to information contained both in the app and in online literature. Doctors can use the app online and offline with either the onboard database or medical journals. Using this application, medical professionals can make integrated diagnosis based on a patient’s biomarkers and what that particular biomarker indicates.
