ECT is a multidisciplinary organization of engineering societies dedicated to advancing the knowledge, understanding, and practice of Science and engineering.

We are committed to interdisciplinary engineering application, research and development, education and advisory to entrepreneurs.

We work to improve Transitions into and through engineering for people at different stages in their lives or careers. Both an active participant in the global engineering community and an observatory for the community, we seek to be a catalyst, partnering with others and providing a platform for debate and action to demonstrate engineering’s contribution to a sustainable future.

We do networking with one’s fellow scientists and engineers for personal and professional development. We sponsor conferences, publish journals, and serve as reviewers or editors. We set professional and educational standards and provide job opportunities and career services for members.

ECT Advances the knowledge, understanding, and practice of science and engineering to its members and emphasizes Engineering to be practiced with the highest degree of professionalism and ethics.

With these we enable the usefulness of our effectiveness in public policy and public awareness of the profession to the public.
