Facial Aesthetics at GDC

Facial aesthetics and rejuvenation procedures are carried out at Glenbervie Dental Clinic by practice owner and principal dentist Sharron Drugan who as over 10 years experience using botulinum toxin and dermal fillers. These procedures are used to reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles giving a more refreshed youthful appearance. Botulinum toxin injections are cosmetically mainly used to treat the crows feet and frown and forehead lines, but can also be used to treat excessive forehead and armpit sweating as well as in the management of migraines. Dermal fillers are commonly used to add volume and definition to the facial tissues as well as reducing the appearance of prominent 'static' facial lines. This includes treatment of the 'tear troughs', definition and enhancement of the cheekbones, adding volume to the apples of the cheeks, treatment of the nose to mouth lines, treatment of marionette (mouth to chin) lines, enhancement of lip volume and definition, treatment of the peri oral 'smokers' lines, chin augmentation and well as treatment of acne scarring as well as individual scars
