Android用のFotoWeb（レガシー）アプリを使用すると、アーカイブ内のコンテンツを検索およびプレビューし、アラート（検索エージェント）を設定して、アーカイブ内の新しいコンテンツの通知を受け取ることができます。デバイスのギャラリーから、アクセス可能な任意のアーカイブにファイルをアップロードして、プロセス中のファイルに必要なメタデータを追加することもできます。最初の起動時にサーバー接続を指定するように求められます。後でAndroidの[設定]メニューでサーバーアドレスとログイン資格情報を変更できます。
