Indonesian Jazz ANDIEN

Andien whose full name Andini Aisyah Haryadi (born in Jakarta, August 25, 1985, age 32 years) is an Indonesian singer with Jazz music.

Andien learned to sing since he was three years old. While sitting in grade 3 elementary school, Andien began to follow the various festivals in the sphere of his residence, Cilandak, South Jakarta. Stepping on grade 6, by his mother, Andien was put into EMS (Elfa Music Studio), under the care of Elfa Secioria.

Andien is one of the younger generation of Indonesian female jazz singers. Since childhood, he has had an interest in the genre of Jazz music. He was more interested in singing the song "Girl from Ipanema" as a child, compared to the songs of Whitney Houston . Winning various singing competitions since the age of 14 in Indonesia and Shanghai, he released his first album at the age of 15, with the album Bisikan Hati produced by Elfa Secioria. After pushing the music world of Indonesia at that time, he then returned to work with Indra Lesmana and Aksan Sjuman through album Kinanti in 2002. Along with his career, award after award. Till then Andien teamed up with Tohpati for Gemintang album in 2005. To date he has released four albums and received the Indonesian Music Awards (AMI) 5, 4 Indonesia Video award and one Planet Music Award in Singapore. Over the years, he has collaborated with various musicians, such as with Jeff Lorber at Java Jazz Festival (JJF) 2005, with Japanese vocal ensemble Jammin Zeb (JJF 2008), with Bob James (ASEAN Jazz Festival 2008 Batam Indonesia), Frank Griffith (JJF 2010), as well as with Indonesian jazz piano legend Buby Chen (JJF 2010) and Indonesian progressive rock band Discus (JJF 2006).
