in over 155 countries, Jhpiego has worked to prevent the

needless deaths of women and their families. Jhpiego

began working in India in the 1980s, collaborating with

the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW),

Government of India (GoI), to strengthen reproductive

health services.
