看板シミュレーション

カンバン（かんばん）は、ジャストインタイム生産システムで用いられる生産の指示票である。欧語でもカンバンはKanbanと呼ばれている。中国語は漢字で看板と表記。

通常は、薄い鉄板、プラスチック、紙をラミネートした札表などが用いられている。カンバンには、部品名および数量が書いてある。このカンバンを工程間、納入業者との間でやりとりすることで工場の生産を管理する。

If you are proffesional or student of Lean Manufacturing, you already know what KANBAN is. This simulator can simulate in realtime the flow of one upstream process, and up to three paralel downstream processes connected through Supermarket and KANBAN cards.

This is specialized application suitable for one sole purpose. But even if you have only vague understanding of KANBAN, you can learn how does it works from watching the simulation.

You can run any setup as it is possible to adjust most of parameters:

Upstream process:

- cycle time for making each of three parts

- changeover time needed to change the process to produce another part

Supermarket:

- amount of inventory in packages of each part

- amount of parts in one package

Downstream processes:

- cycle time of using parts

This DEMO version if fully functional except limitation of maximum simulation time - 60 seconds.

It is enough to see how KANBAN works,but if you consider to compare several setups, please use full version and run the simulation signifficantly longer time. The calcualtions of process utilization become stable after longer run also.
