We can decompose each of N and M numbers into product of corresponding factors. We can see now, that when we multiply N and M, we take into account greatest common divisor twice. It means that we can divide this product with the greatest common divisor in order to avoid repeating the greatest common divisor in the product. Least common multiple is practical value when we want to add or subtract fractions. We can simply find the least common multiple by using LCM android application.
