Merolagi

Mero Lagi translated as ”For me” is an app that is meant for adolescents and youth to understand sexual and reproductive health.

The app is intended primarily for the age group of 15 to 24 years old. However, this app will also be helpful for the adults of any age group including parents and teachers.

The contents of Mero Lagi app is developed by a team of medical and public health experts from Public Health Concern Trust- Nepal (phect-NEPAL) with the support from John Hopkins Center for Communication Programs. The development process followed the steps of Demand Generation Implementation Kit (I-Kit) for underutilized, life-saving commodities with extensive formative research assessing the gaps in knowledge among urban Nepali adolescents and youth in today’s world.

This app intends to provide correct information related to sexual and reproductive health. It aims to complement the school based sex education curriculum. However, it does not replace the school based sex education. It also doesn't replace parental and adult supervision.

The app neither promotes any sexual activity nor disrespects any socio-cultural and religious sentiments.

The app shall NOT hold any responsibility for any act that offends family, school or community by the users.

This app is to be used entirely for educational purpose only.
