Ninth EDCTP Forum 2018

The Ninth EDCTP Forum will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 17 to 21 September 2018. The Ninth EDCTP Forum will bring together representatives from research institutions and universities, the larger scientific community, health care providers, governments, regional bodies, regulators, civil society, and public and private research & development (R&D) partners in the field of poverty-related infectious diseases.

The theme of the Forum is Clinical research and sustainable development in sub-Saharan Africa: the impact of North-South partnerships. The conference will provide a platform to discuss the benefits, challenges and opportunities to advance health research in sub-Saharan Africa through effective North-South partnership in order to achieve sustainable development.
