NYCbook app serves as an extension to the physical photobook "New York City Through a Tour Guide's Eyes," a photographic guidebook by Evgeniya Simmons, showcasing major NYC landmarks in Augmented Reality. In order to see the 3D models, aim your rear facing camera towards a selected page in the book. The list of Augmented Reality pages is indicated in the app's menu.
NYCbook Application utilizes Augmented Reality technology to recognize the position of printable component markers. This process is done on the device and does not transmit images to a cloud based service.
