Quran Karim

The Quran, often spelled as Qur'an or Koran, is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from God (Allah) to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of approximately 23 years, beginning in 610 CE when Muhammad was 40, and concluding in 632 CE, the year of his death. It is regarded as the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad in Arabic and is considered the ultimate source of guidance and law in Islam.

The Quran is composed of 114 chapters, known as surahs, which vary in length and are further divided into verses, known as ayahs. It covers a wide range of topics including theology, morality, guidance for personal conduct, social justice, and laws governing personal and public life.

Muslims believe the Quran to be the final revelation, superseding previous scriptures such as the Torah and the Bible, and consider it to be preserved in its original form, both in its text and its meaning, without alteration or corruption.

The Quran is revered by Muslims worldwide and is recited and memorized by millions of Muslims as an act of worship. It serves as a source of spiritual guidance, ethical principles, and legal injunctions for Muslims, shaping their beliefs, practices, and worldviews.
