Sight Word Football 101

Sight Word Football 101 is a free game with simple graphics to enhance the learning component of the game. This game is based on the first 101 Dolch sight word list. These words are taught in Kindergarten and early first grade. Each quarter is approximately 25 words and the words are played in order of high frequency to lowest frequency of use in the English language.

There are three basic game plays; throwing the ball, kicking a field goal, and blocking the other team. At the start of each level, the coach will shout a word to the player. The player’s job is to simply touch the word the coach says. You must get the word correct to move onto the next play. Use the pause button at any time to check on your child’s progress or freeze time if the game is moving too quickly.
