Space Invader

Space Invaders is a classic arcade shooter game from 1978 where the player controls a laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, moving horizontally to shoot waves of descending aliens. The objective is to destroy the aliens, while avoiding their projectiles. The game increases in difficulty as the aliens speed up with each wave. Players score points for alien hit, and the game ends when all lives are lost. This game was pivotal in popularizing arcade gaming and inspired many future games.
