Spatial Recall

Spatial Recall shows the user a Rubik-cube like object in 3D space Cube Assembly. The CA contains twenty-seven (27) smaller cubes (including the center).

Spatial Recall starts by showing the user one colored small cube (Target Cube) on the 27-cube block. After the user clicks the Scatter Key, the user must find the TC. Once the TC is found, points are added to the user's score and the next challenge is started.

If the user cannot find the TC, he/she can click on the "Magnifying Glass +" button to determine the exact location of the TC. Points are subtracted from the total points if the user uses this technique to locate the cube.

Spatial Recall displays Target Cube(s) in patterns ranging from one cube on one cube-face to multiple TCs on multiple cube-faces of the Cube Assembly. Of course, the CA has six faces: front, back, top, bottom, left and right. The absolute center piece is also in play in Spatial Recall.

Basic Play sequence follows:

1) Click play (right arrow, bottom right);

2) Memorize all Green Target cube positions (x, y & z);

3) Click Scatter Button (bottom, right);

4) Click cube position (x, y, z) that was a Green Target in 2) above (It will be gray now since you clicked the Scatter Button);

5) Click any Green Target cube to receive a +5, +10 or +20 point green cube;

6) Repeat 4) & 5) above for all memorized cube positions.

More information follows:

1) If you cannot remember the x,y,z location(s), press the "Magnifying Glass +" button; at the original x,y,z locations a Red Target cube will be displayed. Touch 1) a Green Target cube then Red Target cube, or, 2) a Red Target cube then Green Target cube to get 50% of the maximum points. Pressing the "Magnifying Glass -" button exits the Spy Mode. Note that just clicking the "Magnifying Glass +" button takes away 5 points!

2) Clicking the "Four In-facing Arrows" button changes the display so you can see inside the cube.

3) Pressing the ? button and any cube gives you more information including "What to do next".

4) The top left box gives hints: "1=>3" says the original Green Target cube is on face 1 (front face) and the just-scattered Green Target cube can be found on face 3 (back face). The following list defines the face numbers & names: 1=front face; 2=right face; 3=back face; 4=left face; 5=top face; 6=bottom face.
