You play as a girl named Matsui Hiro, who has a really terrible relationship with her mother. Her father left her when she was a tiny child – too small for her to even remember what he looked like. He ended up remarrying and his new wife didn’t like Hiro, which resulted in a custody case as neither parent wanted to take her in. Eventually, it was settled, with the custody given to Hiro’s mother although she made it clear that she didn’t want the child. Hiro’s relationship with her mother grew strained and eventually Hiro, tired of it all, decided to plan her escape once she had finished junior high school. The only catch? The one senior high school that fulfilled all of her requirements as a runaway child was Himeji Gakuen, an all-boys boarding school. Not willing to let that stop her, she dressed up as a boy and her days at Himeji Gakuen began.
