twigr

twigr is a platform on which members can get exclusive benefits from partner companies.

Version 1 of the twigr app allows twigr members to access their personal digital member card. This member card enables a member to authenticate themselves in physical partner locations (stores, restaurants, etc.) as a twigr member to get access to exclusive benefits. Examples of such benefits are a free coffee with every meal in a restaurant, free entry in a club, or 5% discount on every purchase in a flower store.

A user will sign in to the twigr app and access their personal member card. The member card contains some personal information, such as the member's name, a profile image and a camera section. Each twigr partner location has a unique QR code. A user will use the camera section of the member card to scan such a QR code. After a user scans the QR code, our backend service will verify if the user is a valid member. Finally, the app will display the result of the verification. If the verification is positive, the member receives the benefit from the partner location.
