VU Social Monitoring

The app is part of a longitudinal research project run by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It is based on experience sampling methodology, a research technique frequently applied in psychological research. The participants are asked to complete a questionnaire 8 times a day consisting of questions about their daily social interactions. In addition to this locations of the participants are stored in order to determine physical proximity. All data are stored using a randomly allocated participant number.
