The WCAT, or Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Test (earlier known as the Wonderlic Personnel Test) is often used in college, entry level jobs, and the team making efforts. It is a popular group intelligence test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees for learning and problem-solving in a range of occupations. The test was named after Eldon F. Wonderlic who developed the test. The WCAT exam is also known as Wonderlic Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test. Many employers use the Wonderlic test to determine a potential candidate’s suitability for a job.

The goal of this test is to get an idea of how well the mind works under pressure, and the test is intentionally designed such that most of those who take it don’t make it through all 50 questions.

It is both online and paper based test. It consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 12 minutes. Here are various scoring measures for the Wonderlic Test.
