Upcoming Hammer Fall Map
The Hammer Fall map is set to release on April 8 with the v34.30 update. This medieval-themed map will initially be a "shell map," allowing for quick layout changes based on player feedback.
Balance Changes
The update includes balance changes primarily for Ballistic mode:
- Hammer Pump Shotgun: Increased fire rate and point-blank damage.
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun: Increased point-blank and mid-range damage.
- Thunder Burst SMG: Slightly increased damage and fire rate.
- Striker AR: Reduced damage falloff range.
Economy Adjustments
- Reaper Sniper Rifle: Cost reduced from 4700 to 4500 Credits.
- Striker AR and Nemesis AR: Costs increased from 2500 to 2700 Credits.
- Drum Gun: Cost reduced from 3500 to 3200 Credits.
Fixes and Improvements
Numerous fixes across different modes include, such as:
- Campfires no longer take damage in Battle Royale.
- Visual bugs in Lego Fortnite have been addressed.
- Stars now properly displayed on Schematics, Heroes, and Survivors in Save the World.
- Mobile chat UI issues have been resolved.
