All our loans are short term credit agreements and are issued in compliance with the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 of South Africa read in conjunction with Regulation 42.

All our loans attract the following interest and other costs:

• The first annual loans interest rate is 5% per month compounded monthly as prescribed by Regulation 42(1);

• Repeat or top up loans attract interest at a reduced 3% per month compounded monthly as prescribed by Regulation 42(1);

• Other costs include an initiation fee which covers the costs of administration and issuing of the loan, and a monthly service fee which covers the costs of maintaining your client ledger and debit order costs;

• Initiation fees are calculated according to formula governed by Regulation 42(2) and is the lessor of :

(a) 10% of the loan amount; or

(b) R165 per credit agreement, plus 10% of the amount of the agreement in excess of R1 000; or

(c) R1 050.

• Service fees are calculated pro rata in the initial period as a portion of the allowable fee of R 60 exclusive of VAT, thereafter a further R 60 for each calendar month thereafter that the loan is active in.

• Service and initiation fees are further capped in terms of our business lending models to never exceed 25% of the loan amount.

There are no obligations or commitments by simply applying for a loan with us. In the application process we simply collect all the data we need to process your application.

Once you have submitted your application our trained agents will assess your application, review your supporting documents and perform an affordability assessment in conjunction with your credit report. They will then give you a call to confirm your details and to get confirmation of your acceptance of the salient terms of the proposed loan agreement.

Applying for a loan does not guarantee that you will be successful.

Once your application has been approved we will pay out your loan into your elected bank account or to a cellphone wallet controlled by you. In this process you will also be sent an electronic link to a copy of your loan agreement.
