Demov is an application that aims to improve your abilty to search for movies and TV shows that are suitable to you. In Demov's heart is the idea of a demographic ranking of movies and TV shows based on personal parameters like age, country and gender.

Choosing a movie to watch is a commitment, and a big one. It is a commitment for approximately 2 hours, and that commitment usually happens quite often.

Nowadays, choosing a movie to watch is not an easy task.

When considering whether to watch a certain movie, the average person will look up the movie online, and view what the critics said, and also the ranking of the movie in some sites.

The problem is that the rankings are from all over the globe, and most times the opinion of a 72 French woman won’t match the opinion of a US teen boy, resulting in rankings that seem absurd for many of us, and not accurate and trustworthy at all.

Our app will fix this problem, and for each movie there will be many different rankings, each representing different age groups, countries, and genders. No more one ranking to rule them all!

Our users will see movie rankings given by people similar to them (same age, country and gender), often resulting in a similar taste.

With our app, the users will be able to choose their movies more wisely and spend their time better!
