DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D_LT is the demo version of DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D, a mobile application to learn 'Lines' in Engineering Drawing /Graphics using 3-D visualization.

Visualizing & understanding the orientation of Lines is perhaps the most difficult part while studying Engineering Graphics / Drawing. DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D is developed for displaying lines in 3D so that their orientation can be visualized to have a clear understanding of the solutions.

It can be used by three different Groups : Students, Teachers & Professionals.

Students can use this App to learn and understand the basics of Drawing Lines.

Teachers can use this App as a tool for teaching Drawing Lines.

Professionals can refer to this App in their day to day work while analyzing different Graphics Solutions.

Mobile App DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D is for understanding the basic concepts by visualizing the Line geometry in 3D. Once the concepts are clear, another App DrgLines_MadeEZ can be used to work the solutions in 2D.

DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D displays 4 different cases of Lines in 3D.

Case1 : In this case the Line is assumed to be parallel to both (VP & HP) planes.

Case2 : In this case the Line is assumed to be parallel to one (VP) plane & inclined to other (HP) plane.

Case3 : In this case the Line is assumed to be parallel to one (HP) plane & inclined to other (VP) plane.

Case4 : In this case the Line is assumed to be inclined to both (VP & HP) planes.

The App uses different colors to display different entities.

The X,Y,Z axis & angles are displayed in red.

The VP and projections in VP are displayed in green.

The HP and projections in HP are displayed in cyan.

The projection lines are shown in  yellow.

The locus lines & paths are shown in  magenta.

The Line in 3D is shown in white.

The App opens with following options: Refresh Theory, Apply Theory, Help, Contact Us & About.

Refresh Theory :

This option displays the details of the 4 cases mentioned above. While the full version (DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D) allows the user to enter different values of angles and then displays the Line in 3D, the demo version (DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D_LT) uses only the preset values. Line "AB" is assumed to be 50 units long with end "A" 20 units from both V.P. & H.P.The projections of the line on V.P. & H.P. and the projection lines are shown in the colors mentioned above. The lengths of the projections are also displayed.Lastly, the locus / path of end point "B" on both V.P. & H.P. is displayed when line "AB" is rotated and made parallel to V.P. or H.P. without changing it's inclination with H.P. or V.P. respectively. The entire display can be rotated to any suitable orientation to get a clear visualization of the Lines (AB,AB1,AB2), their projections (ab, ab1,ab2 & a'b',ab1',ab2') and path / locus of point B.

Apply Theory :

User can use another App "DrgLines_MadeEZ_2D" which utilizes the theory to give 2D solutions of the Lines.This 2D App may be integrated later in this App. 

Help : This option displays the contents of this file. It provides the details of the features and usage of "DrgLines_MadeEZ_3D_LT".

Contact Us : This option displays contact details. User feedback will help us to improve this App.

About : This option displays the information of the application developer with contact details.
