DTI PriceWatch

DTI Price Watch (Price Transparency and Monitoring System) is a Mobile/Web Application for the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Zambales Branch for the monitoring and insurance of the prevailing price of basic necessities and prime commodities of consumers such as canned goods, detergent/laundry soap, school supplies etc. It will also monitor the selling price set by the firms on their products and send their monthly report. It also ensure the customers to be updated on the trends of the prices by means of a mobile news bulletin for the latest Prevailing Price list and Suggested Retail Price (SRP) including the monthly statistic of items, seasonal prices of selected items and Price Freeze. There will also be a costumer complaint desk to allow the consumers to report firms in cases like overpricing.
