From the Recordings screen you can save it externally (with or without the Echo effect applied). Saving creates a .wav file (playable in most audio players) in an Echo folder in your main Download folder.

From the Recordings screen you can delete a recording, rename it, save it externally (with or without the Echo effect applied) or reload it for playback on the main screen.   By popular demand, Echo now supports a save function. After making a recording, tap the star to save it. Access saved recordings using the Recordings screen - available in the menu. Recordings can be deleted, renamed, or set as the current active recording (ready for replay).

  Recordings are saved within Echo and cannot be saved externally. Also, recordings are uncompressed audio files and can take a lot of room - it may pay to keep them short.
