Rajasthan chief minister was announced a new scheme, the Indira Gandhi free smartphone Yojana to all the women living in the state of Rajasthan, these 1 crore 40 lakh womens will get a smartphone, which will be provided by the Rajasthan Government.

Registration has started for the free mobile Yojana. Registration is being done by setting up camps at many places at the block level of the districts. Women whose registration is to be done are being informed by sending messages on their mobiles.

Under the "Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana", women of Chiranjeevi families of the state are being given smartphones.

Free mobiles will be given to 1 crore 40 lakh women heads of families holding Jan Aadhaar cards.

राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने बजट भाषण में इस योजना की घोषणा की थी। इंदिरा गांधी फ्री स्मार्टफोन योजना के तहत फ्री स्मार्टफोन का वितरण प्रदेश की महिलाओ को डिजिटल साक्षर करने और उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर और सशक्त बनाने के उद्देश्य से किए जाएंगे।

इंदिरा गांधी फ्री स्मार्टफोन योजना के तहत फ्री स्मार्टफोन वितरण के लिए राज्य सरकार जिला स्तर और ब्लॉक स्तर पर शिविर का आयोजन करेगी।
