- Using updated APIs (material design, ads etc.)
- Support for runtime permissions (from Android 6.0)
- Favorites (easily switch between saved locations)
- Using Google Play Services (fused location API) for location requests
- Location can be selected in menu (also available in landscape orientation where location controls are hidden in main view)
- Sideway swipe when selecting timezone
- Bug fix: Sunrise or sunset could be one hour off in some locations on the day when switching to/from DST
