AIIMS ICU REHABILITATION PROJECT (AIR)

Health application for all the patients recruited in *AIIMS ICU REHABILITATION* project under AIIMS Bhubaneswar and NHM-ODISHA initiative.

You can ask your doctor free health questions and get expert answers to patient's health related queries.

Health issues and symptoms can be treated via video consultation or through online doctor chat.

A team of *CRITICAL CARE STAFF* at *AIIMS, BHUBANESWAR* has begun efforts towards *HOME REHABILITATION* for *CHRONICALLY ILL TRACHEOTOMIZED* patients by incorporating *FAMILY INVOLVEMENT* towards patient care.

Main components till now have been,

1. Active family counselling

2. Teaching and training in nasal feeding, nutrition care, airway suctioning, tracheotomy care, physiotherapy, bowel-bladder care, bed/body/bath care, etc

3. Hand holding throughout the process of rehabilitation

4. Problem shooting over voice/video calls or chat option in the application

5. Follow up visits at home whenever possible.
