Battery Finder

Battery Finder is an application that helps you find a replacement watch cell battery. Watch cell names vary greatly from one manufacturer to another, and it is difficult to find a proper replacement.

With some batteries costing $4 apiece, you don't want to buy the wrong battery. Battery Finder can help.

Background:

I created Battery Finder after a failed trip to the local store. I wanted to buy a replacement watch cell battery for my son's wooden train, but the store didn't carry any GPA76 batteries. It looked like a battery labeled SR44 was correct. But I wasn't certain, and I didn't want to break the train. So I created a database that contains the equivalent batteries and specifications for most major watch cell batteries.

Features:

* Full-Text Search - Battery Finder has a full-text search box that allows you to search by manufacturer, model, voltage, and diameter.

* Browse - Battery Finder lets you browse the entire database by manufacturer, model, voltage, and diameter.

* Specifications - Battery Finder lists the specifications (usage, height, diameter, equivalent models, and more) for each battery in the database.
