The Forum For Social Concern was founded in the year 2004 by the persons who are interested to work for society in large and also to work for development of education and also educators. The Forum works within the parameters and principles of constitution of India to achieve the goals of the constitution as stated in the preamble of the constitution of India to constitute India into a sovereign, democratic, secular socialist society. The fruits of greater natural resources available in India should reach to the common man without any obstacles may be political, class or economic. The Forum serves for the cause of the people without discriminating caste,creed,place, religion or gender. Only primary requirement is that cause must be genuine and must have justified reasons for solution.

The Forum also strives for the solution of problems of educators without considering the fact of their enrolement of any professional organisation provided the cause is reasonable. The person seeking services of the Forum shall have to enroll as prime member of the Forum at free of cost by abiding by the rules, regulations and objectives of the Forum.

The Fourm functions with its present body without going for choosing or electing office bearers periodically.

The Forum considers that education is a powerful instrument for social change that triggers the conscientisaton of the masses. Therefore it is necessary for the educators to work rigorously to educate the masses at large. This is not only necessary to strengthen the education but also necessary to march the country in progress. Therefore the educators play a vital role in developing the society and country in all aspects. The state is also expected to treat the educators as special representatives for the development of the country. It is this system which needs to provide facilities for educators to work with rigour and the state is expected to see that educators work rigorously.

The Forum determined to work for achievement of Common School System associated with neighbourhood school system as recommended by the Kothari Commission (1964-66). The Forum strongly believes that the Common School System is only the solution for achievement of not only goals of the Constitution but also objectives of education. Forum participates and joins any united forum working for achievement of Common School System in the country and also gears up its members to participate in any movement for attainment of Common School System.

Any person who believes in the policy of the Forum irrespective of their personal idealogy may join this Forum. The Forum also strives for settlement of professional problems of educators.
