As we wrote in our beginner’s guide, it’s also a game that wants you to play at your leisure while figuring pretty much everything out for yourself. Sometimes, though, that isn’t easy or obvious. Breath of the Wild’s unmitigated freedom can be confusing, and we’re here to help.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a world of possibility. From the moment you arrive in Hyrule, it's an instant playground that lets you go in any direction and do whatever you want. There's also no hand-holding whatsoever so if you were expecting a tutorial of some sort, don't hold your, err, breath. While this is of course incredible, it means that sometimes things can get a bit intimidating when you have so much choice.

Now that The Master Trials, the first expansion to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, is in the, er, wild, we’ve updated our guide with tips, tricks, walkthroughs, item locations and more for the DLC.
