Histography

Historiography or historiography is the term that refers to the writing of works about history and the theory and history of historiography. The term comes from the Greek ἱστοριογράφος, those who write history. Although it is often used interchangeably with the term historiography, it is referred to as a separate discipline in the contemporary period.
