LocalHero

LocalHero is a mobile app for you to search for products and services near you whenever, wherever you need them. I'm sure you have experienced a situation where you're looking for a chinese medical hall, a florist, a plumber, a windscreen specialist - and you can't. There are plenty of products and services we do not usually need, but when we need them, we need them NOW.

Google and Foursquare are great. But those information are not by the merchants themselves, and they're not updated. Imagine the frustration driving all the way to a florist directed by Google, and it is out of business; or coming to a car exhaust specialist workshop listed on Foursquare and it is not open today.

We know how frustrated that could be - we experienced them all the time too. We want to solve this, by building a mobile app solely for this purpose. LocalHero stays seamlessly in your mobile phone (the size is so small you won't even realize), always at your service when you need it.
