LongHouse VR

Akwesasne Museum & Cultural Center presents this Longhouse VR experience and serves the people of akwesasne, the surrounding communities and the visiting public by providing access to educational and cultural resources and services.

Longhouse VR puts you inside a few Iroquois Longhouse replicas from the 1500s and 1600s. You will hear Kanien'kéha music while star gazing. You will also hear a Kanien’kéha discussion between a mother & daughter in one of the Longhouses: you can visit the Akwesasne museum to find out more details about that discussion you hear and other things you see in the Longhouse VR experience.
