Luka Modric is a football player born in Zadar, Yugoslavia and a Croatian national on September 9, 1985. During his career he was often played as a central midfielder, but he was also able to play as an attacking midfielder and in a wing position. Modric's international career began with his loan contract to Zrinjski Mostar and Inter Zapresic.
