Each election brings along with it, a foray of tasks on a national scale. ln a billion plus size population the sheer enormity of the exercise make its operations a

challenge. There are arrangement to be made, dates to be affixed and coordinated,

security mobilization. Given the sensitive and gigantic task of polling, the Election

Commission have always depended on the network of government servants across

the country. Irrespective of position, majority of the servicemen are sought for the

drafting, in this festival of democracy. Their duties may vary from Presiding Officer,

First Polling Officer, Second Polling officer, and so on, up to Fourth Polling officer,

depending on the number of voters in one place.

The problem faced by the polling personnel is to remember the polling procedures,

guidelines

, technicality of the EVM and also maintaining social distancing in this

time of covid-rg during election. The training may be held for two or three days

which is may not be enough for the polling personnel to grasp the all the aspects of

electioneering procedures in such a short time. Also in such crowded environment it

may be difficult for the polling personnel to clarify their doubts from an master

trainer. This is where "Mobile based Training System for polling personnel

(Nirvachan Prashikshak) will be helpful for the polling personnel.

The Nirvachan-Prashikshak application brings the utility of the training course for

polling officers in a pocket-able form on the go. The is basically a tutorial based

application that holds all the necessary information in the form of text, documents,

dates and instructions. We could also provide tutorial videos which the polling

personnel can stream with an internet connection. They could also get important

broadcasts, which the Administration can upload to the app, instead of a hierarchical

order passing. Any recent notice can be made available to all the users via the App.
